Chemical Brothers To Return In 2005

added 02 November 2004 at 11.41

Electronic pioneers the Chemical Brothers have announced the title of their forthcoming album and single set for release in early 2005. The album will be the follow-up to 2002’s ‘Come With Us’ and The Brothers’ tenth anniversary singles collection ‘The Singles: 1993-03’.

Following the two year hiatus since ‘Come With Us’, The Chemical Brothers return on January 17 with their new single 'Galvanize' featuring the vocals of legendary A Tribe Called Quest rapper Q-Tip.

‘Galvinize' is the first single to be taken from the duo’s forthcoming new studio album 'Push the Button' set for release the week later (January 24) through Virgin Records. The release is the first since 2003’s ‘Golden Path’ featuring a collaboration with The Flaming Lips.

The pair are also confirmed to be joining the Beastie Boys as part of the annual Big Day Out tour of Australia and New Zealand, which runs from January 21 in Auckland to February 6 in Perth.
