According to reports Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker has broken his foot while on tour in Melbourne, forcing the band to cancel their remaining Australian live dates.

Barker reportedly broke his foot while getting off a bus, shortly before his band were expected to take the stage to headline a festival gig at Perth's Rock. Support act Grinspoon took over as headliner and closed the event.

Blink 182’s following gig in Adelaide went ahead with Travis playing in a cast, but the band’s remaining four Australian dates have all been cancelled.

An announcement about rescheduled dates is expected soon, but Blink 182 will be leaving Australia so that Barker can recuperate at home in the USA.

The band were due to continue their world tour with dates in Japan and North America, and are rumoured to be playing the Carling Weekender Festival in the UK this August, it’s not know whether Travis’ injuries will affect these dates.

The cancelled date are:

  • Sydney, Hordern Pavilion (March 16, 17 & 18)
  • Brisbane, Entertainment Centre (19)
