Belle & Sebastian To Play Wembley Arena

Forming part of what has to be one of the most impressive - and unlikely - line ups of recent years, Belle & Sebastian will play Wembley Arena alongside Seal, Simple Minds and Frankie Goes To Hollywood for the Prince’s Trust charity

The unlikely event is a Prince's Trust are staging a benefit concert  celebrating acclaimed producer Trevor Horn’s 25 years in the music industry taking place on November 11 at Wembley Stadium.

Horn produced Belle & Sebastian’s recent album ‘Dear Catastrophe Waitress’ hence their inclusion on the night (albeit at the bottom of the bill). Also performing will be a host of acts including Seal, Simple Minds, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Yes and The Pet Shop Boys.

Other artists confirmed to appear so far are ABC, The Art Of Noise and Horn himself who will perform with the other original members of Buggles, who recorded the legendary single ‘Video Killed The Radio Star’.
