Air 'Talkie Walkie'

added 23 January 2004 at 16.55

Gaellic synth duo Air are making a welcome return to form with their third studio album, 'Talkie Walkie'. Hear it in all it's electro-European glory right here.

If Portishead was in France, it would be Air's home town. But even that comparison sells the sheer aural dexterity to be found on their records decidedly short. In truth, Air have little in common even with fellow French electro purveyors Daft Punk. Despite their electric medium, Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoit Dunckel have aimed to move your heart rather than your feet (which is not to say at times they don't manage to get a pulse out of both) and so Air remian unique even among their peers.
