On the eve of his appreance at the Peace One Day concert in London on Saturday (September 20) Badly Drawn Boy aka Damon Gough, has spoken to Xfm Online about commencing his new record.

While Faithless, 1 Giant Leap, Badmarsh & Shri and Lamb are amongst the artists confirmed to play the annual Peace One Day concert at the Brixton Academy in London this Saturday, headliner Gough has revealed that he’s already at work on the follow up to his 2002 album ‘Have You Fed the Fish?’.

“New stuff? It’ll be done soon enough,” he explained speaking to Xfm, “I’m sure everyone’s had enough of me for a while. I’m actually in the middle of a new album right now. I’m making it in Stockport where my dad was born.

“I’m just on a quick break though as Andy Votel, who’s producing the album with me, is on his honeymoon at the minute, but we’ll get back to finishing it in October. Hopefully it’ll all be finished and out by next year, February probably. So I’m keeping busy.”
