On supporting The Rolling Stones, recording with Phil Spector and playing bass with the penis [listen]
"I did play the bass with my penis, yeah. Without trousers. It's true. Me mum read it in the Daily Star yesterday. She rang me up and said 'What's this?'. Oh no!"

'Four To The Floor' [Dial-Up] [Broadband]

One of the 'non-Phil Spector' tracks, 'Four To The Floor' has 'classic' scrawled all over it. From the quintessentially rock title to the Verve-esque strings this is a track steeped in musical history without being in thrall to it. The cheeky piano riff halfway through is just the icing on the cake.

'Silence Is Easy' [Dial-Up] [Broadband]
The comeback single and deservedly so, 'Silence Is Easy' is that rarest of things - a song written by famous people about being famous which avoids coming across like a spoilt child and/or Kelly Jones. Spector's touch is plain to see in the sparkling sheen which covers the song from start to finish but it's very much Starsailor's tune; Walsh's subtly acrobatic vocal sees to that.

'Silence Is Easy' is out on September 15.
