Oasis Record With Death In Vegas

It looks as if Oasis will be attempting something of an artistic overhaul as it’s being reported that Noel Gallagher will be vacating the producer’s chair during the band’s next album recording sessions, leaving the knob-bothering to Death in Vegas.
Oasis’ first two records were produced by Owen Morris, while Gallagher himself (along with Mark ‘Spike’ Stent) helmed ‘Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants’ and ‘Heathen Chemistry’ but now they will be passing the baton to Tim Holmes and Richard Fearless of Death in Vegas.
"Oasis recently met up with Tim Holmes and Richard Fearless, the production team behind Death In Vegas,” reads a message on the band's official website,“They decided to go into the studio early next year to work on some new Oasis tracks together."
Liam Gallagher previously sung vocals on Death In Vegas’ single ‘Scorpio Rising’ off the album of the same name.
Oasis are reported to already have 13 songs already written for the new record, "I've got about five songs done, Liam's got about six, and Gem's got a couple," Noel said speaking to NME earlier this year
His ever-eloquent brother also added a subtle critique of his own new compositions, in many ways comparing them to the more ephemeral compositions of artists such as Philip Glass and Claude-Michel Schonberg, saying,
"My songs are the best f***ing songs in the world. I write the best f***ing songs in the world."
Working titles for some of the new tracks include 'Revolution Man', 'Longer', 'Singin' Your Life', 'They Ain't Got Nothing On Me', 'Stop The Clocks', 'They Ain't Got Nothing On You', 'You Wanna Feel My Shame', 'Say It' and 'The Good Rebel'.
