New Limp Bizkit Single Named

It's started. The gargantuan marketing rock juggernaut that is Limp Bizkit has fired its engines and is preparing to roll. First a huge free UK show, then the news that the album is finally complete and now the new single emerges.
Save a demo (the charmingly entitled 'Just Drop Dead') posted online on Limp Bizkit's website there has been new material from Fred Durst's nu metal outfit, until now. It's been announced that the first single from the band's as-yet-untitled new album will be (the equally enchanting) 'Eat You Alive'.
The track has already been premiered on selected American stations in New York and LA and is expected to be precede the release of the new album which will hit shops in the US on September 23, with a probable UK release date of September 22.
Durst himself has recently had some very public and troubled 'relationships' (imagined and otherwise) with some very high-profile female celebrities (Angelina Joile, Britney Spears) as well as Geri Halliwell, and the lyrics to the song seem to reflect his lovelife (and how much of a c**k he is).
"Hey, you, Ms. Too-Good-To-Look-My-Way, And that's cool, you want nothing at all to do with me," he sings "But I want you, ain't nothing wrong with wanting you, 'Cause I'm a man and I can think what the hell I want, you got that straight?"
"No doubt that I'd love to sniff on them panties, I'd eat you alive," he continues, "If I could approach you or even get close to the scent you left behind, I'd be fine,"
The track is described as being a clean break from rap-metal with a sound halfway between Metallica and Disturbed.
A video for the track was reportedly shot in Los Angeles last week by Durst in the woods and features a combination of performance footage and a suitably unhinged story line.
Elsewhere tickets for Limp Bizkit's £1 gig at London's Finsbury Park on September 6 have been disappearing quickly. Xfm Online gave away 4000 tickets for concert in just under thirty hours.
But keep checking www.xfm.co.uk as we'll have more tickets to give away nearer the time of the event.
