Metallica Announce European Dates

added 12 September 2003 at 11.02

Fresh from their appearance at the Carling Reading and Leeds Weekender the black-clad uber lords of metal Metallica have confirmed the rumours and have announced a series of European dates.

As previously reported by Xfm Online, Metallica frontman James Hetfield has been fuelling rumours that after their brief European tour and festival dates, earlier this year, his outfit will be returning to the UK and now the dates have been announced.

The 12 date tour takes in the whole of Europe throughout December, culminating in a gig at Earls Court Arena in London. The date that tickets go on sale varies across the tour (see below) but the London date goes on public sale on September 17 - though Metallica fanclub members will be able to pre-order tickets from September 15.
