Love Fighting In Court For Frances Bean

Courtney Love appeared in juvenile court in Los Angeles last week trying to fight 'charges of abandonment' and win back the right to take care of her eleven year-old daughter Frances Bean by ex-Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.
Frances Bean had been placed in the care of her paternal grandmother by US Government officials after Love was arrested on October 2nd for being 'under the influence of a controlled substance'. That same night, Love was also treated for an overdose of OxyCotin pills leading authorities to think she might have tried to kill herself just like her late husband.
A week after her initial arrest for the above, Courtney was unexpectedly picked up from her house by "two ladies in white coats" who took her to the Las Encina's Hospital in Pasadena under Californian law 5150, which states that individuals deemed to be a danger to themselves or others can be placed under 72-hour evaluation without their consent.
Love was admitted to the clinic on October 10th but decided to 'walk out' of the programme, run by MTV's 'Loveline' host Dr. Drew Pinsky, after only one day.
According to the child welfare agency involved in the case, they are still investigating the matter. After the hearing, Love insisted that she was not trying to kill herself despite changing her will and making suicidal remarks in the weeks before her arrest and said "I don't think anything was resolved today".
This is not the first time Courtney Love has been in trouble with the authorities. in February this year she was arrested at Heathrow airport for being 'drunken disorderly' and 'abusive' on a flight to London and also for trying to break into someone else's house whilst 'being under the influence'.
