It's been quite a year for the Simian Mobile Disco, with the reputation they built with Club Residencies in London, Sheffield and Brighton forging ahead of them to guest appearances everywhere from Barcelona to New York.
The highlight though was their appearance at the Grammy's aftershow party, where they soundtracked the boozy dancing of the likes of Isaac Hayes, Jay-Z, Kylie and, er, Justin Timberlake. Simian are one of those bands that do truly move the stars themselves.
'Boat Race' was one of the highlights of that particular set, built around a rubbery bass line and a nod to ska. It was originally written specifically for the Batofar Boat Party in Paris, where it tore the roof off. It's been going down a storm ever since and now you can get your hands on it for free.
