Mogwai Forced To Cancel US Dates

added 23 September 2008 at 12.39

The Scotland post-rockers have had to head back home after drummer Martin was rushed to hospital.

Following the band’s set at All Tomorrow’s Parties in New York, Mogwai drummer Martin Bulloch was rushed to hospital with complications relating to his heart condition.

Bulloch has since been discharged, though doctors have advised him to return home for further treatment, leading to the cancellation of the remainder of their US tour.

Ticket refund details will be announced shortly, and the band plan to reschedule the shows for early 2009.

However, the band’s UK tour in October should remain unaffected.

Mogwai release their highly anticipated new album ‘The Hawk is Howling’ this week.
