selling coffee out of a tardis (ex-police box). very lonely in winter.

Being a MiniPop - ie mouthing the words to other people's songs in pretend videos Although given that that job no longer exists (and never did for grown ups), I am deliriously happy playing music I love to people who want to hear it.
9. Where would you most like to live?
In the top of the Gherkin (the Norman Foster building in Liverpool Street)
10. Where do you live now?
Not very far from it, in East London
11. Which characters in musical history do you most dislike?
I have a totally irrational loathing for Tommy Steele.
12. Which characters in musical history would you like to be?
Nikki Sixx (without the hard drug habit)
13. Your favourite album ever? (yes, I know it’s impossible, but try dammit)

14. Who’s your favourite DJ?
It's a tough call between Richard Bacon, John Kennedy and Jon Hillcock.
15. What was the first single you bought? (and be honest about it)
Owen Paul's "My Favourite Waste Of Time". I still have it.
16. …and you first gig? (ditto)
First concert was Prince at Wembley Arena when I was twelve (cooler older cousin), but my first sweaty gig was Carter USM at the New Cross Venue, just as 'Sheriff Fatman' came out.
17. Your favourite qualities in a band/musician?
The ability to make me very sad or the ability to make me very excited.
18. Your favourite author?
David Sedaris
19. Your favourite film director?
Michael Winterbottom
20. Your favourite hero or heroine in real life?
Anna Vickerstaff
21. Your favourite hero or heroine in fiction?
Susan in 'Desperately Seeking Susan'

Roast butternut squash and really well made Ribena

Fancy: The Witchery in Edinburgh Staple: The West End Kitchen on Panton Street in London
24. Your pet aversion?
Lack of generosity in people -not financial, just in terms of favours, kindnesses etc
26. What three songs would you have played at your funeral?
Elbow 'Puncture Repair', for meaning and message. Then after that, I think I would use it as a last chance to inflict my favourite songs on people, so, The Reindeer Section 'Where I Fall' and Clem Snide 'Bread'.
27. What is your present state of mind?
Mischievous
28. ….and your motto is?
Always look at the little picture; the real joy of life is to be found in its details.
