Jay-Z To Feature On Coldplay Track

Not only that but details of a new EP have been announced, as has the debut album of bassist Guy’s A-Ha-featuring side-project.
New York rapper and recent Glasto legend Jay-Z will feature on a special version of Coldplay’s new single ‘Lost!’. The track will be included on a four-track digital-only EP, available to download from November 10.
In a post on the band’s official website, frontman Chris Martin revealed: “In the spirit of trying to do things a bit differently and keep everything fresh, we are going to do a few musical moves that we have not previously attempted.”
Following the Jay-Z mix of ‘Lost!’ is the next ‘musical move’, coming in the form of a brand new eight-song EP titled ‘Prospekt’s March’.
A release date is yet to be confirmed, though Martin added: “If you want to get the EP you can download it or order it from the internet or you can get it in a special edition of the album called ‘Viva La Vida: Prospekt’s March Edition'.”
And as if all of that ridiculously exciting Coldplay news wasn’t enough to get your head around, bassist Guy Berryman will release an album as part of his side-project that also features A-Ha’s Magne Furuholmen and Mew’s Jonas Bjerre.
The collective are known as The Apparatjik, and a debut record is scheduled for release next year.
