Think Manchester and music and certain names spring to mind… Noel Gallagher, Morrissey, Tony Wilson and now… the Xfm Ticket Monkey.

The cheeky monkey is back and this time it's monkeying around in your place of work.

Listen to Mike McClean on the Xfm Manchester Breakfast Show to find out which pair of amazing gig tickets are in the Monkeys grasp and its dead simple to grab them off him.

Just text in the special key word during the allotted window and wait for you phone to ring.  If it does then answer the phone with your best monkey noises then answer a simple question about today’s show and your off to an amazing gig!

Just follow these simple tips to make Ticket Monkey even easier.

• Know the answer.  The question can be about ANYTHING from that days show so listen to as much as you can… set your alarm for 6am and listen carefully.
• Practice the Monkey Noises.  This is your moment to shine – make sure your monkey noises are of the highest quality.  Get the office to join in too – the more monkeys the better.
• Do not approach other Monkeys.  As tempting as it may be if you see a Monkey walking around the streets of Manchester then DO NOT approach it and ask for tickets.  Not all monkeys are ticket monkeys and some bite.
