Gaslight Anthem: 'Bruce Springsteen Would Paint Our Houses'

The New Jersey heroes claim that The Boss is actually a really down-to-earth guy...
The Gaslight Anthem have revealed that those Bruce Springsteen comparisons aren't annoying... in fact, they're actually on good terms with The Boss.
Speaking to Steve Harris as part of last night's (June 2) 'An Evening With The Gaslight Anthem', frontman Brian Fallon revealed, "We don't know each other well enough to be mates, but he knows who we are and he likes us. When I see him, he asks us all these questions like, How did you record your record, where did you grow up?
"You can ask him anything, he's real normal. My favourite way to describe him is that somebody forgot to tell him he's famous, he's so down to earth. I've met people much less famous than him, who are completely delusional. I bet he'd come over and paint my house if I asked him to."
