‘Foo Fighters Secret Gig’ Causes Confusion At Reading

Chaos ensued at the Reading Festival last weekend after thousands of Foo Fighters fans mistook London punk band The FFer’s set for a secret gig by the rock legends.
Around 3000 fans gathered around the BBC Introducing stage at around 5pm on Saturday after rumours swept across the festival The FFer’s was an alias for Foo Fighters, according to NME.
However, The FF’ers walked onstage to herds of bottles after fans realised Dave Grohl and his merry men were not about to perform.
The London punk band’s set was thus cancelled after much chaos, but it didn’t stop there.
Underground Railroad, the London-based Parisian indie trio who were next on, were given the same treatment as fans were still waiting for the Foos to come on.
Security intervened by pulling the band off the stage, before announcers explained the Foo Fighters were not going to play.
Underground Railroad walked back onstage to complete their set to the remaining few hundred still there.
