X & Y (2005)
Can it really have been three years since X & Y came smashing in to the charts with instant classics Speed of Sound and Fix You. Tinkling piano's combined with the whining, but strangely addictive vocals of Chris Martin created a buzz about the band that transformed them in to international superstars. A must have for any collection, and you can get it here for under a fiver.

A Rush of Blood to the Head (2002)
Following a debut as strong as Parachutes would faze most bands, but Coldplay not only rose to the challenge, but they exceeded all expectation by providing an album of awesome lyrical depth and musical intensity. One of those rare pieces that you can listen to from track 1 - 11, no skipping necessary. Includes the massive Clocks and the heart pulling The Scientist.

Parachutes (2000)
Nominated for a Mercury Music Prize on release, this album introduced Coldplay as a band with genuine emotion and a talent for writing decent, catchy songs. This is the most indie-rock album of the band to date, and includes hits Yellow, Trouble and Don't Panic.
