Cold War Kids Unveil 'Darker' Side

In an exclusive interview with Xfm's Steve Harris, Cold War Kids front man Nathan Willett admitted the band's new single is about how today's world is "making us crazy".
Cold War Kids' Nathan Willett spoke exclusively to Xfm's Steve Harris, and revealed all about the band's new "darker" record, 'Loyalty To Loyalty'.
He said: "It has a much darker feel than the first record, thematically and also musically in the way that it was mixed. Lyrically it requires a lot of listening to, to be revisited quite a bit to engage with."
Willett also explained just who the character something isn't right with in the band's new single, 'Something Is Not Right With Me'.
"It's a sketch of a guy who doesn't belong in modern times. In a world of cellphones, computers and gigabytes coming and going, he feels completely out of the loop and missing something. That's the way that a lot of us feel and it's making us crazy."
