Ash To Headline Headstock

Indie veterans top line-up supporting ex-mining village.

Ash are confirmed as headliners of the inaugural Headstock festival, to be held on September 11 in rural Nottinghamshire.

The Northern Irish indie band top an impressive line-up that includes Field Music, The Beat and veteran experimentalists Penguin Café Orchestra and a total of 40 acts spread over four stages.

Headstock, to be staged in Newstead and Annesley Country Park, is being run by over 100 local people and proceeds from the festival are being put back into the local community, an ex-mining village which is still recovering from the pit closure.
