Scouting For Girls Biography
The whimsical indie pop group Scouting For Girls formed in 2005 in London, playfully modelling their name after a scouting handbook (Scouting for Boys) published in the early years of the 20th century. Members Greg Churchouse, Peter Ellard, and Roy Stride signed with Epic Records in early 2007 and released their first EP single, 'It's Not About You', that June. Soon after, the band's self-titled debut reached the top slot on the Album Charts, thanks to the popularity of such singles as 'She's So Lovely' and 'Elvis Ain't Dead'.
