Xfm Meets The Prodigy

added 13 January 2009 at 14.29

16 million-selling records don’t lie. And yet, almost twenty years into the electro-ravers’ career, The Prodigy sound as boxfresh as ever. Listen to Steve Harris talk exclusively with band chief Liam about their comeback trail…

What began as a 10-track demo slapped together on an 80s Roland W-30 keyboard, is now a five-album strong entity zesting up countless souls across the universe one record after the other. The life of The Prodigy is about to take another spin, as new album ‘Invaders Must Die’ hits shelves on March 2, the Essex trio have garnished themselves with that thing they call ‘pop sensibility’.

Here Liam Howlett talks to Steve Harris about the band’s plans…

Part 1 – He talks about the comeback tune, ‘Invaders Must Die’, and the next single, ‘Omen’. [Listen]

Part 2 – He talks about live plans and winning over new Prodigy fans. [Listen]
