We caught up with Stereophonics backstage at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium. Preparing to play four songs for the Welsh rugby team's Grand Slam Party (picture the scene: rugger buggers, ale, back-slapping - we were loving it), the band were in fine form and happy to talk about new material, a mysterious new project and re-gaining the plot. Kelly Jones? Miserable? Not a bit of it...

You've been promoting 'Pull The Pin' for a while now, is the campaign coming to an end?

You were signed to V2 as their flagship act, how has the recent move to Mercury been?

You've been working on new material. how's it shaping up?

What are you going to use the new material for? Is there a new album on the horizon?

You look and sound like a band after a few wilderness years. What was the point you realised that and how did you pull it back?
