Xfm Meets Maximo Park

Xfm spoke to Paul Smith of Maximo Park at a charity gig for The Royal Marsden Hospital and No Surrender Charitable Trust to find out about the event itself and plans for a new album...
Xfm caught up with Paul Smith, lead singer of Maximo Park, at The Kentish Town Forum where the band were headlining a charity gig with support from Mystery Jets, Blood Red Shoes and Pete And The Pirates.
Paul explained to Xfm why the band decided to put on the event and how the proceeds from the sell out gig is the best way they can contribute to the cause.
We were also given an special preview of some of the songs that will feature on the new Maximo Park album.
Can you tell us about the charity gig?

You had some issues with Touts selling tickets and you asked your fans not to buy them. Has it worked?
