added 17 July 2009 at 12.42

Jack White and Alison Mosshart talk to John Kennedy about the debut album from their side-project.

Jack White and Alison Mosshart have put aside The White Stripes and The Kills momentarily and hooked up with Queens Of The Stone Age man Dean Fertita and The Raconteurs' Jack Lawrence for a new project, The Dead Weather.

Their remarkable debut album, 'Horehound', features much of White's trademark blues riffing, with the added bonus of Mosshart's witchy vocals. The pair came into the Xfm studios to speak to john Kennedy for an in-depth X-Posure delve into the album, track-by-track.
