Paul Weller on 'Wake Up The Nation'

The Modfather's tenth solo album is set to give the complacent country a kick up the arse. Here, he takes John Kennedy through it track by track...
Can Paul Weller really have notched up ten solo albums? After the critical acclaim of 2008's '22 Dreams', the man is back with a more vibrant, angrier album and he's here to tell John Kennedy all about it - 'Wake Up The Nation' gets the X-Posure playback treatment.
From welcoming former Jam mucker Bruce Foxton back into the fold after nearly 30 years to the title track's snarling tirade against "the Facebooks", Weller explains to JK what was inspiring him, the state of the record industry today and what it's like being The Modfather at 50.
