Ian Camfield Meets Green Day

added 15 May 2009 at 16.04

Xfm's Rock Show host sat the power punk trio in a room and asked them all about their new album '21st Century Breakdown'...

Heard Green Day’s new album yet? Folks, let us tell you without any hesitation that ‘21st Century Breakdown’ is their greatest record to date. Bigger and more ambitious than ‘American Idiot’ and filled with more pop hooks than ‘Dookie’, it takes all of Green Day’s best bits and multiplies them by ten.

It’s little wonder we dedicated an hour to the genius of Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool. We were lucky enough to wave a video camera around while Ian was interviewing the band. Here’s where you can see all three members being interviewed by Xfm London’s Breakfast DJ.
