Just before they kick start a mammoth UK tour, Xfm caught up with the hotly tipped Friendly Fires to find out what we should expect from their anticipated debut album.
Vocalist Ed McFarlane also talked all things festivals as well as discussing why they shouldn't be categorised in the genre of 'Nu Rave'.
How are you feeling about starting the mammoth UK tour with Crystal Castles this week?

You're making your debut album at the moment. How's it going?

You're a hotly tipped band. Do you feel added pressure because of that?

You've got the tour, then you're off to Japan and then, are there any festivals in the diary?

It all started for you in St.Albans. Were you friends before starting the band?
