The Dandy Warhols: "Steve Martin Refused To Play On Our Album!"

Courtney Taylor-Taylor berates the legendary comedy actor for not contributing banjo to the new Dandys album and admits that the record is "perfect" in our exclusive (and mind-boggling) video interview.
Pausing between takes of The Dandy Warhols' Music: Response session, frontman Courtney Taylor-Taylor slouched by the Xfm offices to tell us all about the band's new album. According to Courtney, 'Earth To The Dandy Warhols', which lands on August 18, is "The closest I've been able to achieve to a perfect record".
Plus... get the whole story on how the band are coping in their post-'Dig!', post-'Bohemian Like You' bubble (complete with "fantastic chefs") and a strange-but-true story of how Steve Martin refused to bring his banjo-picking skills to the new album, so the Dandys had to settle with Dire Straits' Mark Knopfler instead. No, really!
