LCD Soundsystem On 'Sound Of Silver'

added 12 March 2007 at 18.56

Electro genius James Murphy spoke exclusively to John Kennedy about his long awaited new album in full detail. Listen to it all right here.

James Murphy aka LCD Soundsystem has returned with the highly anticipated new album 'Sound Of Silver', the follow up to the massively acclaimed and eponymous debut which spawned the classic singles 'Daft Punk Is Playing At My House' and 'Losing My Edge'.

Difficult second album syndrome has been more than avoided with 'Sound Of Silver' another bonafide electro classic.

From the crushing barrage of first single 'North American Scum' to the sublime bittersweet ballad 'New York I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down' expect 'Sound Of Silver' to feature on many top album polls by the years end.

To concide with the albums release James spoke at length about the entire album and told John Kennedy about its origins, his recording process and his feelings on the album leaking early. [listen]
