Kings Of Leon on 'Because Of The Times'

added 05 April 2007 at 12.22

The Tennessee boys are back with a brilliant third album and front man Caleb Followill spoke exclusively to John Kennedy all about it.

After establishing themselves as the one of the finest bands with two brilliant albums already under their belt, the Kings Of Leon finally return with their long awaited third studio album 'Because Of The Times'.

Having released one of 2005's best albums with 'A-Ha Shake Heartbreak' their new material sees them advancing even more, opening the album with an epic seven minute stormer 'Knocked Up' whilst across the whole album they display a strong use of new effects, experimentation with different instruments and they've drawn from influences as diverse as U2, Pixies and Joy Division.

Band leader Caleb Followill joined John Kennedy to discuss the album's details in full plus spoke about what they've been up to the past year, how they love going straight back into the studio and what a pleasure it was to record in Nashville. [listen]
