Foo Fighters On 'Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace'

added 26 September 2007 at 09.56

Following a show-stealing performance at Live Earth, Dave Grohl and Nate Mendel joined John Kennedy to talk through their much anticipated new album.

After a mammoth tour that included both full on rock and a series of sublime acoustic shows that followed the release of their double album 'In Your Honour' it culminated in one of their biggest shows ever, headlining Hyde Park last summer with support from old friends the Queens Of The Stone Age.

Not long after the Foo Fighters went straight back to the studio with producer Gil Norton to record their sixth studio album 'Echoes, Silence, Patience And Grace'.

Speaking to John Kennedy, Dave Grohl and Nate Mendel spoke to John Kennedy about why they rarely take a break, their wonderful performance at Live Earth and how they found being back in the studio with Gil Norton after ten years. [listen]
