Iglu And Hartley Biography

Formed by University of Colorado students Jarvis Anderson (keyboards, vocals), Sam Martin (keyboards, vocals), and Simon Katz (guitar), new wave revivalists Iglu & Hartly came together after the three relocated to California to pursue their musical aspirations. Soon after, they were joined by Chicago drummer Luis Rosiles and Los Angeles native Michael Bucher on bass. The group released its debut single, Violent and Young, on U.K. label Another Music = Another Kitchen in June 2008; Iglu & Hartly signed to Mercury soon after and made plans to release their next single, In This City, in September that same year. ~ Katherine Fulton, All Music Guide
