Lucio

From Uni radio to late night talkshow host and rock show DJ, the award-winning presenter finally arrives, serving up Xfm's Drivetime show.
Taking in unsuccessful nights at the student union, a stint at Lambeth Council, dancing to Bronski Beat and booing Sheena Easton, Lucio's road to Xfm has certainly been an eventful one. Find out more in his biography clicking here. But since joining us he's leapt from the weekend Breakfast Show over to the highly prestigious Drivetime Show.

Lucio Leaving?
Yes, its true. As we reported here, from August Lucio will be leaving the hallowed halls of Xfm. Many of you have been gettign in touch and asking about the move, so we thought we'd ask him to write you a message, which he has. And here it is.
"I've had an amazing time at Xfm and the decision to accept the offer from Capital was a hard one. I didn't solicit the job, and was shocked when the offer was made. Both stations are in the same company, GCap Media and after being offered the job it would have been difficult to turn down."The opportunity that Capital Radio Drive offers is a huge one though as I grew up listening to Capital it's the station that got me interested in working in radio in the first place. I'm glad and proud to have been a part of Xfm but I am also excited about being given the chance to put my stamp on the Number 1 radio station in London!
"I will still be djing indie around clubs in London. And i'll still see you all at loads of gigs."
