QOTSA Kicked Out Of Rehab

added 14 November 2007 at 18.04

Queen's Of The Stone Age proved they're the Kings of Tact when they got thrown out of a rehab centre after performing 'Feel Good Hit Of The Summer' and staff and in-patients failed to see the funny side.

The gig - which took place at an unnamed Los Angeles rehab centre - was supposed to be a light hearted six-song set, but was pulled before they band had even finished their first number.

Josh Homme and co. were reportedly cut off mid song and removed from the building by security, according to the NME.

The offending lyrics from 'Feel Good Hit Of The Summer'?: "Nicotine, valium, vicodin, marijuana, ecstasy and alcohol...c-c-c-c-c-cocaine." Nope, we can't work out why they were so offended either.

Funnily enough the song is actually used by the Colorado Police Department in videos warning against drink-driving.
