McAlmont & Butler Live On Music: Response

The popular duo return once again and produced yet another sublime acoustic session and interview with Sarah Darling. Check it out right here.
Having been recording together on and off for eleven years McAlmont & Butler have proved to be an immensely popular song writing duo. Having only played a handful of gigs most of their popularity stems from a series of excellent singles such as ‘Falling’ and the classic anthem ‘Yes’ and only two studio albums the last being ‘Bring It Back’ released in 2002.
A tempestuous relationship at the best of times they reconvened once again earlier this year to dust of the brilliant single ‘Speed’ which was recorded back in 2003 and has been given a one off release deal by Rough Trade. Chatting to Sarah Darling they explain why they only release one single at a time, not being part of the machine and future plans. [listen]
