December 1 - Erlend Øye

Kings of Convenience’s Erlend Øye hit the studios solo this week for a set of gentle, acoustic, fjord-evoking folkery. Hear it here.
One half of critically acclaimed chill-out acoustic duo Kings Of Convenience, part-time dance remixer and occassional Röyksopp vocalist, Norway’s Erlend Øye is the classic renaissance man, adding another string to his bow with the release of his first solo record, ‘Unrest’. Opening up his Xfm session with a heartfelt cover of Wham!’s ‘Last Christmas’ [Dial-Up] [Broadband] Erlend went on to showcase some of the album’s finer moments; ‘Like Gold’ [Dial-Up] [Broadband] and ‘Sudden Rush’ [Dial-Up] [Broadband].
