Camden Ablaze

Camden looks on in shock as a massive fire engulfs much of the legendary markets the iconic party haunt The Hawley Arms.
The fire, which apparently broke out around the Camden Canal Market around 7.20pm tonight (Saturday February 9), continues to blaze at the time of writing (2.40am, Sunday February 10) with over 100 firefighters on the scene.
There are as yet no reported casualties but the iconic London area, steeped in rich musical history, has been ravaged by the fire.
Not least legendary party hangout The Hawley Arms - frequented by the likes of Razorlight, Noel Fielding, Amy Winehouse and The Charlatans and a central venue in the annual Camden Crawl - although Xfm have been assured that all staff and punters have evacuated the building unharmed.
The London Fire Brigade ascertain that the fire is being brought under control, telling the BBC:
"It's an ongoing job and we are doing out best to bring it under control and to stop it spreading.
"It involves currently some market storage properties, shops and dwellings. It is a very large area involved. It is a severe fire and there is a lot of smoke going up into the sky."
