More Acts Confirmed For Reading & Leeds

Carling Weekend organisers have confirmed a handful more acts for the Reading and Leeds double-header in August. The festival takes place over the August bank holiday at Richfield Avenue, Reading and Bramham Park, Leeds.

The Cooper Temple Clause will be returning to the live arena at the Carling Weekender this year joining headliners Kasabian on the second stage on Friday (August 26) in Reading and Saturday in Leeds (27). Also appearing will be My Chemical Romance, Fightstar and The Subways.

New for the second stage at Reading (27) and Leeds (28) are Hot Hot Heat, The Kills and The Others while joining the second stage at Reading on Sunday (28) and Leeds on the Friday (26) are British Sea Power, Willy Mason, The Duke Spirit and Maximo Park.

Joining the main stage line-up for the Sunday in Reading and the Friday in Leeds will be Alkaline Trio, Turbonegro and Bullet For My Valentine.

The three day event takes place over six stages and with headline performances from Pixies, Foo Fighters and Iron Maiden, plus appearances from Queens Of The Stone Age, Elbow, Kasabian, Kings Of Leon, Razorlight and The Charlatans.
