More Acts Added To Tsunami Relief Concert

Embrace, Manic Street Preachers, Snow Patrol and Badly Drawn Boy are the latest bands confirmed to play the huge Tsunami Relief Concert at The Millennium Stadium in Cardiff on January 22.
Last week guitar legend Eric Clapton announced he would be making a rare live appearance when he performs at the concert backed by Jools Holland and The Rhythm & Blues Orchestra. While Feeder, Lemar, Aled
Jones and Katherine Jenkins were all revealed to be playing the event.
Now Xfm Online can reveal that Badly Drawn Boy, Embrace, Manic Street Preachers and Snow Patrol are all confirmed to be playing the event, which will take place on Saturday January 22. More acts are expected to be unveiled over the next few days.
Since the massive event was announced last week an astonishing 45,000 tickets have been sold for the 60,000 capacity venue. Meaning it looks likely the entire gig may sell out within a matter of days, and organisers should hit their target of raising £1 million for victims of the Asian tsunami.
"We had a fantastic response over the weekend, with the ticket sales reaching 45,000 by tea time on Sunday," explained Millennium Stadium Manager Paul Sergeant. "It's an incredible achievement. As promised, this morning, we've added four more great bands to the list. If you want to come and you haven't got your tickets then please get them now on 08705 582 582."
It is anticipated that the event will run from around 2.00pm until 10.30pm.
Tickets will be priced at £30, £22.50 and £15, and are now on sale now from 08705 582 582 or at www.ticketmaster.co.uk (Ticketmaster will not be charging a booking fee) and all proceeds will be going to aid the victims of the tsunami disaster,
