Fields Live On Music: Response

One of this years most talked about new bands produced a sublime, harmony filled debut session which you can listen to right here.
Having only formed a few months ago Fields have quickly become one of the years brightest new acts, drawing on a massive range of diverse influences from My Bloody Valentine to Celtic Folk.
Formed by chief songwriter Nick Peill, he sketched out the bands early tracks in his home built studio based in the family shed. Then he recruited Icelandic keyboard player/vocalist Thorrun alongside guitarist Jamie, drummer Henry and bassist Matty and from that moment Fields was born.
The band have just finished recording their highly anticipated debut album with semi-retired producer Michael Beinhorn who has previously worked with Brian Eno, Violent Femmes and Soundgarden. Looks like 2007 could be year of the Fields.
