Holy Shit! Is Courtney Love Pregnant?

Not content with abandoning her website and leaving her fans to pay for it’s upkeep, the ever-unpredictable millionairess Courtney bowled in five hours late for her latest court appearance, and has also sparked rumours that she's pregnant.

Speaking to Andrea Peyser from the New York Post outside the courtroom where she was facing a charge of reckless endangerment, Love exclaimed she was expecting a brother or sister for her child with Kurt Cobain, 11-year-old Frances Bean.

"I'm pregnant!" she said, "But not to the point where I have to quit smoking! [Courtney was smoking at the time] Do I have a glow on my face?"

When questioned again as to whether this was true, Courtney answered, "Pesky, pesky, pesky," before saying, "Let me put it this way - I have to quit smoking. If you put that in, Andrea, I didn't tell you!" Before eventually (and some would say thankfully) denying the claim, saying "I didn't tell you because it's not true. Deny! Deny!"

Courtney Love arrived an astonishing five hours late for the court hearing in New York on Monday June 28 (she was due at 9.30am but didn’t show until 3pm) where she is facing the charge following an incident at a nightclub where she allegedly hurled a microphone at an audience member.

The resident judge Melissa Jackson was reportedly furious with Love saying, "I want to make it clear to you that you are supposed to be in court at 9:30, not 3 o'clock. Three o'clock is not acceptable. The rule applies to you, the same as it does to everyone else." Courtney then apologised for her lateness.

Love still faces a jail sentence if convicted. The case comes to trial in September.

Elsewhere Love's internet fansite message board is facing closure after she withdrew her financial support for the site. However www.kittyradio.com has set up a donation system where fans can submit money towards the $5,000 necessary to get the site up and running again.

Amazingly more than $3,000 has already been raised. Helpfully (though not as helpful as actually stumping up the cash) Love has encouraged her fans to make donations or purchase 'Free Courtney' tops at www.getvexed.com, which will use the proceeds to pay the suspended site's server bill.
