Billy Corgan Offers Iha An Olive Branch

Ex-Smashing Pumpkins and Zwan mainman Billy Corgan continues to address the rumours surrounding the split of the band and his relationship with its other ex-members, namely ex-guitarist James Iha.
Still working on a solo album / live DVD / poetry collection / overall world domination, Corgan recently fanned the flames of the split via his online weblog by all but blaming bandmates D'Arcy and James Iha for the split of the Pumpkins. Corgan has once again addressed the 'rumourmill'.
"A little while ago I lifted the cover off a few things," he writes at billycorgan.com "Namely former bandmates, some of which are doing a good job of proving to me I am wise to stay away from them for good.
"Some of these comments that I have made in the recent past have confused many… So let me say one last thing to one person in particular, Mr James Iha, and I hope the whole world reads it with him:
"James, I love you, you will always be my brother, and even though I have my issues with you, I love you very, very much. The depth of my heart is only matched by the depth of my gratitude… You will always be a Pumpkin, no matter whose band you played in. You did good, never forget the lives you changed and inspired and healed… that is your legacy, may it always inspire you… love, bc"
Corgan recently recorded a ninety-minute set for a DVD which is expected to be released alongside his new solo album later this year. Tracks performed and, therefore, expected to feature on the album include 'The World's Fair', 'Black Irish', 'Black Sox', 'Friends As Lovers', 'Say Goodbye', 'Prairie Song', 'Bobby Franks', 'White Lights', 'Riverview', 'White City', 'El-A-Noy', 'Columbus', 'Bad Driver', 'For Your Love' and 'Matthew Selah'.
