X-clusive: Starsailor Play Xfm Fair Trade Gig

added 29 April 2004 at 10.38

Xfm Online can reveal that Starsailor, Shack and Hal are amongst the bands who are confirmed to be playing a special one off benefit gig for the Fair Trade Foundation charity in London next month.

The Fair Trade Foundation is famed for its celebrity endorsees (including Bono, Feeder and most vocally Coldplay’s Chris Martin) and the charity has assembled an impressive line up for a new event presented by Xfm in association with SUBtv present taking place at the Coronet Theatre in Elephant & Castle, London on Thursday May 27.

Acts confirmed are Starsailor, Shack, Hal and Smaller. Lemon Jelly’s Fred Deakin will also be playing a DJ set.

More acts will be announced plus special “surprise guests” are expected to be appearing on the night.

Tickets for the event are £16 and are available by calling the Xfm Xchange on 0870 121 1049 or going online to the Xfm Online Live Gig Guide by clicking on this bit right here.
