Red Hot Chili Peppers' ‘Best Of’ Released
The Red Hot Chili Peppers will be releasing their Greatest Hits collection (which will feature two new tracks) along with a special limited edition DVD edition featuring the band’s videos on November 17.
The album will include fourteen of the Chili’s best-known hits and will also include two new tracks ‘Fortune Faded’ and ‘History’, both of which were recorded during the recent By The Way tour.
As well as songs from the band’s albums ‘Californication’, ‘By The Way’, ‘Blood Sugar Sex Magik’ and ‘One Hot Minute’ the compilation features ‘Soul To Squeeze’ a track originally heard on the 1993 soundtrack to the movie ‘Coneheads’ which has been made available for the very first time on a Chili Peppers album.
A limited edition CD/DVD edition will also be released containing 15 videos (including the rarely seen promos for ‘Road Trippin'’ and ‘Universally Speaking’) plus interviews with the band and behind the scenes footage from their 2000 Californication tour.
Also being released simultaneously is a DVD of the Chili Peppers gig in front of 80,000 people at Slane Castle in Dublin last August. Amazingly it’s called ‘Red Hot Chili Peppers: Live At Slane’.
