Xfm 10th Birthday Documentaries - Muse

The sixth of Xfm's 10th Birthday Documentaries focuses in on the second album by Muse, ‘Origin Of Symmetry’, easily one of the most forward thinking rock records of the decade, made by one of the most ambitious bands in the world. Listen to it in full hear and download the podcast for free.
"It’s a common misconception that the 21st century started in the year 2000. In fact - as there was no year zero - the year 2000 is actually part of the 20th century, a century that had witnessed the birth and evolution of popular music. From blues to rock n roll, to pop and soul, from reggae, ska, funk and punk, to rap, metal, indie and electronica. All created within one person’s lifetime.
"The new millennium started on January 1st 2001
"The same year Muse released 'Origin Of Symmetry'.
"And it sounded like the future."
The sixth of Xfm's 10th Birthday Documentaries is on Muse's astonishingly ambitious 2001 album 'Origin Of Symmetry' and centres on brand new, all exclusive interviews with vocalist, pianist and guitarist Matt Bellamy, bassist Chris Wolstenholme and drummer Dominic Howard. Plus contributions from the album's legendary producer John Leckie.
'The Making of Muse's Origin Of Symmetry' is at 5pm on Sunday October 7 but to listen to the documentary in full right now, click on the links below.
