The first of Xfm's 10th Birthday Documentaries is on Arctic Monkeys's 2006 debut ‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’. It features interviews with Alex Turner, Jamie Cook and Matt Helders from the band, and archive audio from their interview with Xfm
at the time the album first came out.

Other contributors include the album’s producer Jim Abbiss, NME Editor Conor McNicolas, James Ford from Simian Mobile Disco (Arctic Monkey’s former - and current - producer) John McClure from Reverend & The Makers, a close friend of the band, and fellow Sheffield musician and friend Richard Hawley.

The Making of Arctic Monkeys 'Whatever People Say I Am, that's What I'm Not' is on 104.9 Xfm at 5pm on Sunday September 2.
