Feedback Track: Every day at 4.15pm Rick plays a brand new track for the first time on Xfm and asks what you think of it.
The Random Question Generator : Answer 40 seconds worth of questions to answer on a variety of topics. For each one you get right you win something such as a pair of gig tix, a CD or maybe even a helicopter.
1st and Last : One band, two tracks. Their 1st hit and their most recent hit. A good excuse to play two tracks from one quality band/artist.
Stupid Question Time : If there's ever a question that you wanted to know the answer to but have been afraid to ask someone through fear of being ridiculed or considered a half-wit, tell Rick, he'll put it out there and see if there's anyone else that also thinks like you and/or has the answer to your question
Questions already dealt with include -
If one member of a pair of conjoined twins commits a murder, how do you administer justice fairly if the other one had nothing to do with it?
The general consensus was that you would get round the problem by giving the guilty twin a good talking-to while the innocent one wears ear-plugs.
How do you get a doorman to change his mind once he's decided you're not going in?
It turns out that you need to compliment him on how nice you think his hair is coiffed (if he's bald best not use this or you could end up in a coma). Other ways are tell him you are a descendant of Aidanus son of Gabron crowned king of Dalraida by Saint Columba, and if that doesn't work best resort to a simple good old fashioned bribe, which rarely fails.
Scream if you wanna go faster : If you're stuck in traffic on the way home but going nowhere because this is London, this feature is a platform to let out any pent-up frustration and aggression in the form of a scream. It's radio therapy and it's free get on the show and scream it out. This is followed by a "Shouty Shouty Song" something loud and obnoxious for you to get angry to as you battle your way through the traffic.
