Keane Triumph At O2 Wireless Festival

With the first ever Wireless festival almost over, Keane topped the bill last night (June 29) playing to a packed-out Hyde Park. Kasabian are today's headliners and Xfm can confirm a last-minute line-up reshuffle. Soulwax on the main stage, Editors get a crack at the Xfm Tent and we have all the stage times...
Yesterday saw the M&S picnic blankets out in force for a headline show from Keane, including highlights 'Everybody's Changing' and 'Bedshaped', plus great sets from Supergrass and Echo & The Bunnymen on the Main Stage and the Secret Machines and The Shore in the Xfm Tent.
For today’s event (June 30), Editors have joined the bill and will hit the Xfm stage at 6pm. The band release the single 'Blood’ on July 11 ahead of their debut album, ‘The Back Room’, which comes out on July 25.
Belgian dance-rockers Soulwax will now be playing the main stage at 6:30pm and Xfm can confirm that ‘Pete Doherty & Friends’s performance will now be a full blown Babyshambles gig. Quite what the difference will be escapes us, but no doubt Doherty will be upside-down in the moshpit for most of it sans battered straw hat… Exactly how you want him to be.
In other news, headliners Kasabian are to release a live download album next week on July 4. Recorded in London in December 2004, ’Live From Brixton Academy’ will be available through all the usual download sites.
