X-clusive: Carling Live 24 Event Bands Named
Franz Ferdinand, Scissor Sisters, The Von Bondies, Feeder and Starsailor will be taking part in the Carling Live 24 event, when they all play individual gigs in different venues spread across London over 24 hours, and Xfm Online have all the details right here.
Carling Live 24 is a whole day of gigs taking place in London on Saturday May 1. Starting at 7.00am and going through to 7.00am the following morning, six venues across London will play host to live sets from bands including Franz Ferdinand, Scissor Sisters, Von Bondies, Starsailor and Feeder (who are playing their only announced live UK appearance of 2004).
Feeder's Grant Nicholas says, "We are really excited to be involved in this great live music event. We are coming out of the studio especially to give fans the chance to see us play our only confirmed UK gig this year. It should be a great evening."
Stuart Cain, Head of Media at Coors Brewers says, “Carling continue their support for live music by creating yet another exclusive event giving thousands of fans the chance to see their favourite bands all in one day.”
